White Bean Dip

White Bean Dip

This is another alternative to a dairy dip. Who says we have to get our calcium from dairy. White Beans contains around the same amount of calcium as cottage cheese, not to mention a huge bonus of fibre.

Dairy free, gluten free, egg free, sugar free, vegan, plant based

 

Ingredients

400g or 1 can cannellini beans

1/4 cup chopped shallots

1/2 cup pine nuts

1/2 tablespoon tahini

1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 small lemon, juiced

Chilli flakes to your taste

Salt and pepper

 

Method

Add the ingredients except decoration and puree until smooth. Add fresh water if your mixture is too thick. Serve fresh in a display bowl and decorate.
