Raw Green Smoothie Recipe

Why not try your smoothie in a bowl. This recipe results in a thicker version of a smoothie allowing you to scoop it up with a spoon. I know it’s packed full of leafy greens like kale and spinach but don’t forget you can also add extra green superfoods like celery, zucchini, broccoli. Wow it looks so stunning decorated with fruit and cereal.

 

Dairy Free, Gluten free, Egg Free, Sugar Free, Raw, Vegan

 

Ingredients
1/2 ripe avocado
2 medium ripe bananas, previously sliced and frozen
1 large handfuls spinach
2 small handful kale with large stems removed
1 cup of water
2 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
2 tablespoon almond butter

TOPPINGS (optional)
Blueberries
Granola
Pumpkin seeds
Chia Seeds

 

Method
Blend all smoothie ingredients except water. Add the water slowly (you may not need it all) to reach the desired thick texture. Top with you preferred decoration.
