Strawberry Porridge


Raw Strawberry Porridge Recipe

This recipe is so easy. Just needs a bit of planning to soak the oats over night for maximum creaminess. Texture is like porridge but it’s all raw!! So filling and satisfying and a great start to your day. This breakfast will keep you feeling full and satisfied until lunch time.


Wheat Free, Dairy Free, Lactose Free, Egg free, Nut Free, Vegan, Plant Based.




1 cup oats

1 ½ cups water or nut milk for a creamier version

1 grated apple, peeled and cored

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 tablespoon honey

½ cup strawberries



Soak oats overnight and in the morning drain and set aside the water or milk.

Blender the oats together if you like a smooth texture otherwise leave it. Add some of the drained water or milk until your desired creamy texture.

Add the chia seed, apple and honey to this mixture and set aside until the chia seeds absorb some of the liquid and the porridge thickens up. This will only take around 20 minutes.

Mix through some fresh oats for extra texture if you like. Slice the strawberries and place around the base and sides of serving glass topping with the porridge. Decorate with more strawberries. Enjoy!!
