Chia Porridge

Raw Chia Porridge Recipe

This is my quick and easy breakfast when time is of the essence. It takes the chia seed no more than 30 minutes to absorb all the water and turn to a gel. This will give you time to organise you busy morning before enjoying a raw healthy breakfast. Change the ingredients to suit your taste buds and what's fresh and in season. Really nutritious with the chia seeds containing healthy omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, antioxidants, and calcium.

Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Egg Free, Sugar Free, Nut Free, Raw, Vegan, Plant-Based

Ingredients
1 apple finely grated
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon shredded coconut
1 tablespoon raisins
1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
¾ cup water or nut milk
Berries for decoration
1 Passionfruit or decoration

Method
Combine the water or nut milk and chia seed and let stand for around 30 minutes or until the seed has absorbed the liquid. Mix in remaining ingredients and decorate with passionfruit and your favorite berries.
